- The Zoom is reporting what speed it's talking to your computer at
- (the DTE rate), while the USR is reporting the dpeed it's talking to the
- other modem at (the DCE rate). Reporting the DTE rate is rather useless
- for high speed modems, since it's locked by software, but it's the default
- on Rockwell based modems, probably because people see CONNECT 115200 and
- think that it makes their modem faster then one which reports CONNECT
- 28800. In any case, try setting S95=47 in you're Zoom, this will return
- the full connection result codes. Don't bother trying to get Win95 to
- detect anything, just do everything you can to bypass Win95. All it does
- is set up the modem using some canned settings.
